Do I really need an AC tuned-up?

Often we are asked if you really need to get an HVAC tuneup every year. We all like to cut down costs where we can and this may not seem like an obvious necessity. However, if you skip HVAC care then you can face some seriously unfortunate consequences. Here are the three big reasons you can not skip your HVAC tuneup:
1) You are risking a breakdown mid-summer. The last thing you want is your summer fun to get interrupted by this sort of fiasco. If we aren’t given the chance to check on your system unavoidable issues such as frozen lines, leaks or damaged wires may turn into more serious issues. Don’t submit yourself to this kind of suffering!
2) Your utility bill will be reduced. It seems like electricity companies like to gauge you in the summer… Don’t gauge yourself as well! An inefficient system can be detected during an inspection. There are many things that may cause this inefficiency that can’t be caught by the untrained eye. If you want to ensure low this doesn’t happen then you have to call the professionals.
3) Your unit will last longer. We will notice all the little issues such as dirt or rust so that they don’t metastasize over time. This will allow you to keep your system for longer. Not to mention if there are broken parts that go unattended this can sometimes break your HVAC unit for good.
